Codes and Policies - Leave of Absence

1. No pupil who has been absent will be permitted to attend school without a leave-note from the parent/guardian certifying his/her absence and reason thereof. The date of absence must like wise be signed in the calendar.. Any request for leaves / half days etc must be in the school calendar only . Application on pieces of paper will not be accepted.
2. The name of the pupil shall be struck off the rolls if he/she without serious reasons absents himself/herself more than a week. As a rule such pupils are not readmitted, if readmitted they will have to pay entrance fee again.
3. No leave for attending marriage will be granted except for close relations as brother or sister.
4. A pupil who remains absent prior to exams without any valid reason will not be allowed to sit for the examinations.
5. Pupils who do not report on the reopening day after summer vacation will have to pay the entrance fee again, unless they have a valid reason for the delay. Pupils will not be allowed to attend school without written approval of the Principal.
